You may have noticed on our monthly calendar that this week, we will be tackling a few unusual projects. Today, we’re going to walk around the perimeter of our homes. If you live in an apartment, you can skip this task today! However, if you live in a standalone house, I encourage you to take the time to complete today’s assignment. Here’s why:
Though it may seem odd at first, you never know what you might find that needs attention or repair. With our busy lives, we often rush by our homes without truly noticing what’s outside. So today, step outside, walk around your house, and take a good look up, down, and all around.
Here are a few things you might discover:
– Random pieces of trash that have blown into your yard.
– Weeds that can be easily pulled from the flower beds. Don’t spend too much time here; just picking a few each day can make a significant difference!
– A fence that needs repairs.
– Gutters that require fixing.
– Large branches that are at risk of falling.
The list goes on!
This task shouldn’t take you long, so put on your shoes, take a walk, and check out your home!
Your assignments for today are as follows:
– Continue working on Habit #5.
– Walk the perimeter of your home.
– Add this task to your Rainbow calendar and keep progressing with it.
