Today, we’re focusing on outdoor tasks, specifically the garage door! It’s often challenging to find a suitable time for everyone to complete outdoor projects, so if the weather isn’t favorable for working on the garage door, feel free to tackle another project. This also applies to those who don’t have garage doors!
**Spring Cleaning the Garage Door**
Let’s take the following steps today:
1. Grab a broom and sweep the area surrounding the garage door.
2. Remove cobwebs and any other critters near the garage frame.
3. Use a wet rag and all-purpose cleaner to wipe away dirt and debris, or squirt a small amount of liquid soap on the door and spray it with a garden hose. I prefer the second option, especially when it’s hot outside.
4. Make note of any changes you could make today or in the future to improve the functionality or appearance of the garage door. Since we just moved, I’m considering painting our garage doors and adding some decorative handles.
