Polish Wood Furniture

Cleaning and conditioning wood furniture is a cleaning task I often ignore. Since I only have a few real wood furniture pieces in my house, I seem to just focus on other things. But I’ve determined to change things this spring Cleaning season and polish the few pieces of wood furniture in my house…and I hope you will too!

Polish Wood Furniture

Rainbow the furniture, gently, using the dusting tool to prep for polishing. Polishing wood furniture is actually pretty easy. You just need 2 soft cleaning cloths and furniture polish. Spray furniture polish on one of the cleaning cloths and polish your wood furniture, staying with the grain. Repeat until the piece of furniture is fully coated. When you’re finished, buff the furniture with your second cleaning cloth until the surface is dry.

That’s it!

The time it will take you to complete this task totally depends on how much wood furniture you have. If you only have 5 minutes today, then set a timer and work fast to complete as much as you can. If you have more time, great! Work until you have to stop.

Your assignment for today:

  • Continue working on Habit #4.
  • Polish your wood furniture.
  • Keep working on your Rainbow calendar.
