Rainbow Clean Windows – Part 3

You’ve clean the inside of your window frames and now it’s time to make those windows sparkle! Are you ready?

First, let’s gather our supplies:

  • Bucket
  • Soap
  • 2 Microfiber Cloths
  • Squeegee

Put a dab of soap (a “dab” is an exact measurement right?) in your bucket and fill with warm water. I suppose it doesn’t have to be warm but I don’t like my hands to freeze.

Next, grab one of the microfiber cloths, dip it in the soapy water, wring it out so it’s not dripping wet, and wipe down the glass.

Then put the rubber part of your squeegee at the top of the window and pull straight down in one motion. Move the squeegee to where it’s overlapping the dry portion slightly pull straight down again. Repeat until the entire glass has been dried.

You can also squeegee from side to side.

Water will have accumulated at the bottom of the window. Just grab your second, dry microfiber cloth and wipe the water away.

If you have tilt in windows, pull them in and follow the steps on the outer portion of the glass. If you don’t, then you can go outside and repeat the process. Or you can take the easy way out and just spray them with a garden hose!

And there you go! Beautifully clean windows that you can enjoy all Spring!
